Imogen Heap

Imogen Heap

USING manipulated electronics and found sound, Imogen Heap’s solo albums iMegaphone (1998), Speak for Yourself (2005) and Ellipse (2009) are works of musical genius. While singles Oh Me, Oh My; Hide and Seek; Goodnight and Go and First Train Home impress with endearing lyrics and ingenious hooks. You might recognise the voice from duo Frou Frou whose single Let Go featured on the Garden State motion picture soundtrack. Imogen dropped us a line listing her mix tape, “Not in any particular order,” she wrote, “here are 10 tracks I like.” We hope you like them, too
